Soap! In a box! Great idea right?! Introducing ‘The Soap Box’ from Totally Balmy.
Why would I want a soap box?
So you’d like to move away from plastic bottles? By going back to basics and choosing to use soap, you’re heading in the right direction.
Here at Totally Balmy we are doing our best to be more environmentally friendly. By bulk-buying soap in a box, you cut right back on waste. The box, and any packaging that is inside the box is recyclable. The box itself is fairly sturdy, so you could even repurpose it.
Which one do I choose?
But what do you choose? What is right for your skin? Well, fear not, as there’s at least two different types of soap in each soap box. I myself (And I know several of my clients do too!) use any of these soaps on my face. The castile soap, for example, contains olive oil and coconut oil. Whilst the Nourish range contains coconut oil, shea butter, and vitamin e. I’m often told that you don’t need to use moisturiser after washing your face with a Nourish bar as it’s quite moisturising in itself.
Perfect for the whole family! These soap bars can be used on everyone, from babies to grandparents. Sometimes even the family pet!
How do you use a Shampoo bar? Easy. Grab the bar, and just rub it over wet hair until it starts to form a lather. There is an adjustment period when moving to a natural shampoo, so don’t give up! Give it some time.
We have three options of soap box available. And because we get very few surprises in life, these will be, to some degree, ‘mystery’ boxes. I will add different scent combinations each time to keep things interesting.
Body Box – Nourish soap bar x4 (4 bars in total)
Variety Box – Nourish soap bar x2, Exfoliating bar, Shampoo bar (4 bars in total)
Head to Toe Box – Shampoo bar, Exfoliating bar, Nourish soap bar x4 (6 bars in total)
By buying in bulk you also save a little on the full retail price. Therefore, you save money, help save the environment, get a surprise in your letterbox, and take out some unwanted chemical nasties from your bathing routine. Win!
With most soap boxes you’re saving 15% (or more!) off the normal retail price. It pays to buy in bulk as you get more for your money.
