Natural dog shampoo bars!
You’re cautious about what you apply to your skin right? So why not apply the same caution to your four legged friends. Dogs get smelly, just like we do, and ideally you’d wash them with something that cares for their skin, helps to repel mites, fleas, mosquitoes, and ticks, whilst deodorizing at the same time. Enter Totally Balmy’s dog shampoo bar!
What’s in it?
Our dog shampoo has been formulated with patchouli, lavender, and cedarwood. All three of these essential oils help to naturally repel insects. Furthermore, lavender and patchouli have the added bonus of working as natural deodorisers. And finally, the lavender is naturally anti-itch, anti-bacterial, anti-anxiety, and anti-fungal in nature. This bar contains neem oil as part of the base recipe.
Neem oil has been used for thousands of years for it’s medicinal properties. It’s widely used in the garden, as an insect repellent, in medicine, and in skin care. Neem oil naturally repels insects, and is water repellent, which makes it handy for your outdoor-loving four legged animals.
Why should you try it?
- It has an unusual smell, though not unpleasant (At least I don’t think so!). Contains no artificial ingredients/scents
- This is about as natural as you can get
- These bars are handmade, and tested on myself and my family (My kids don’t mind the smell at all)
- Easy to use
- The full list of ingredients is shown, so you know what you’re using on your animals
So why not get your pet his or her own shampoo. It’s safe for you to use too!
